Booking Terms

1. Scope

These terms apply when Wildlife Vagabond offers a tour or travel-related service directly to a customer. Trip-specific information supplied in the tour description, booking correspondence or booking confirmation forms part of the agreement and may supplement these general terms.

2. Before a booking is accepted

Before a booking becomes binding, you will be informed of the price and the main features of the service, including what is included, the planned date or period, any relevant participant requirements, and the applicable payment and cancellation conditions.

3. Price and payment

The price and payment schedule for each tour will be stated before the booking is accepted. Any deposit, balance due date, currency, payment method and material additional costs will be communicated as part of the booking information.

4. Cancellations by the traveller

The cancellation rules and any applicable cancellation charges depend on the type of tour and will be stated before the booking is accepted. Different conditions may apply to a local day tour and to a multi-day or international trip.

5. Changes or cancellation by Wildlife Vagabond

Wildlife and outdoor activities can be affected by weather, access restrictions, transport, safety considerations, local conditions and other circumstances outside reasonable control. If a material change or cancellation becomes necessary, participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and the applicable options will be explained in accordance with the booking terms and mandatory law.

6. Minimum participant numbers

Some tours may require a minimum number of participants. Where this applies, the requirement and any deadline for a decision to operate or cancel the tour will be stated in the trip-specific information.

7. Wildlife, weather and photography

Wildlife sightings, photographic opportunities and particular weather conditions can never be guaranteed. Guides will make reasonable efforts to provide a safe and rewarding experience, but wild animals move freely and field conditions change.

8. Participant responsibilities

Participants are responsible for following reasonable safety instructions and for bringing any personal clothing, footwear, optical equipment or other items identified as required for the tour. Any relevant mobility, health or accessibility considerations should be raised before booking so that the suitability of the activity can be assessed.

9. Travel documents and insurance

For tours involving international travel, participants are responsible for having the passports, visas, vaccinations or other documents required for their own journey unless explicitly stated otherwise. Appropriate travel insurance may be strongly recommended or required for particular trips; this will be stated in the trip-specific information.

10. Services provided by third parties

Some trips may involve transport, accommodation, park services or other services supplied by independent third parties. The booking information will explain the role of Wildlife Vagabond and the relevant suppliers where this is material to the agreement.

11. Package travel rights

If a booking qualifies as a package or another regulated travel arrangement under applicable law, the traveller retains all mandatory statutory rights and protections. These general terms do not replace or reduce those rights.

12. Personal information

Personal information connected to enquiries and bookings is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints and contact

14. Updates and trip-specific terms

This page will be supplemented as Wildlife Vagabond’s booking procedures are finalised. The exact terms supplied before an individual booking is accepted take precedence where they address a specific trip, subject always to mandatory law.
